The Aquarian

She hides once the clouds have parted
Runs when the sun spills and dries
A little girl without a name
Who sees through vibrant, vivid eyes.

She runs along the water's shores
And steps upon each puddle
Kisses a stone and hurls it into the ocean
Her presence silent and subtle.

She lives beneath an evening sky
Somewhere between spring and summer
Her knee length dress flows like water
The color or pale blues strewn asunder.

Outside in a thunderstorm that turns the day to night
She dodges without hesitation each drop of rain,
The lighting is her camera flash
Documenting her one burden, her bane.

She must bless each lake each stream each pond
Every bird bath or gutter, she'll praise them all
Standing beside a moss covered tree
She admires a droplet on a green leaf so small.

The tears of the sky run through her hair
Down her cheeks and face they roll
But the brave girl stands in the storm's dark wake
Absorbing it in full.

Her head is upwards to the clouds
To the crash of wailing thunder
Holding fast to comfort the heavens
In this grand predicament of wonder.

She binds a unity between the earth and sky
A link to bear the weight of water
Sooth the storm whenever need be
The ground and yonder's daughter.
I think I might write one for each zodiac sign.

What do you think?
